The Rustic Wood Company is excited to introduce a new line of flooring: Hugger Reclaimed Engineered Floors. This premium flooring features a 12-ply substrate layer with opposing grain patterns to minimize expansion and movement. Hugger floors can be installed below grade (basements), over concrete, over plywood subfloors, and over radiant floor heat. The flooring features a thick wear layer (1/4 inch), longer lengths (18”-7’), and 4”, 6”, and 8” widths. It is currently available in Black Ash and Elm.

The flooring can be purchased unfinished or pre-finished. This provides you the latitude to finish it to whatever look and colour you choose.

Pre-finishing is done using Osmo UV Hardwax; a zero emission finish that is also very environmentally friendly (for more information go to www.raincoastalternatives.com) Custom staining to your desired colour and shade is included in the pre-finished price.

The flooring is pre-filled and pre-sanded so sanding is minimal for on-site jobs.
